OPI: Summer Flutter Collection Summer 2010

Hi everyone!

Today I have OPI summer 2010 collection for you. It is called Summer Flutter and I bought it in mini version

Flower To Flower: is a bright bubblegum pink with fine silver shimmer. I’m not really into bright pink shades but this one I surprisingly like.

Wing It!: this shade is really special. It’s strawberry red jelly base with blue-violet glass flacked glitter. I think it looks gorgeous!

Flit A Bit: nice bright orange creme. This one is the only crème in this collection. I would be happier if they threw some glitter in it.

Catch Me In Your Net: blue jelly base with silvery green glass flacked glitter. It looks stunning. This one is the same like Zoya Charla. On the pinkie and middle finger is Zoya and on the ring and index is OPI. Can you tell the difference? I can’t.

The formula of this collection is great. They are super smooth, and they are not difficult to apply. They all needed two coats for full coverage. I think it’s a nice collection and I like it. I like those glass flacked glitters. They should make an entire collection with these type of glitters. Do you like this collection?

Essence: Eclipse Trend Edition

OMG! OMG! I got the whole new Essence Trend Edition – Eclipse. It is inspired by the latest movie of Twilight Saga Eclipse. I was so excited when I heard that essence came out with an entire collection about it. And of course like a true Twilight fan I had to have it. I have to warn you, that this post is pic heavy.

Eclipse Trend Edition:

POLISHES: there are five shades in this collection.

Undead?: is jelly black base with purple glitter mixed in it. I was a little afraid that the glitter won’t be seen on the nails, but it’s not like that. I can’t tell you how much I love this shade. It needs two coats for full coverage.

Thrsty?: is a really dark jelly red shade. It’s like blood. I love it! There are also two coats.

Don’t Bite Me – Kiss Me: is medium berry shade with purple shimmer in it. It’s opaque in two coats.

Hide Bella Hide: is frosty metallic silver shade. I was expecting trouble with application, but it was easy. It needs also two coats.

Ready To be Bitten?: hell yes I’m ready! I’m joking a little bit. This shade is also nice. It’s sheer nude shade with rose undertone, but it is shimmer that is special. It looks like it has melted glass in it. Lovely color. This one needs three coats for full coverage.

LIP-GLOSSES: There are four lip-glosses in this collection. I just swatched three of them on my lips, the black one however doesn’t look interesting on the lips.

Don’t Bite Me – Kiss Me lip-gloss: is nice light purple shade with pink, blue and silver slitter mixed in it. Glitter is not too big, so you can’t feel it on the lips.

Ready To Be Bitten lip-gloss: this one is really nice. Clear base with loads of silver, blue and pink glitter in it. It makes your lips sparkle.

Lunch At Cullen’s: oh I love the name! And the gloss it’s also beautiful. It’s like China Glaze Ruby Pumps on the lips. Red jelly base with a lot of red glitter mixed in it. My lips are not made for red color, I should use a lip-liner.

DUO EYESHADOWS: there are three duo eye-shadows in this collection. I didn’t swatch them, I just took a close up picture of them. The colors look nice, but I hear that they are hard. So the base or the wet application is necessary. I also love the naming of them

DIAMOND POWDER: it’s called Too Beautiful To Be True. It’s most silver, but you can also find some gold shimmer in it. This one is perfect if you want your skin to look like Edward on sunlight. You can use it on body or face. This one is also recommended to apply wet. I will save this one for New Year’s Eve.

Barry M: Coral and Burgundy

Pred časom me je kontaktirala Maja iz spletne trgovine licila.si in mi poslala dva Barry M laka, da ju preizkusim. Seveda sem ponujeno z veseljem sprejela.
Dobila sem dva oddtenka: Coral (Koralna ) in Burgundy ( Burgundsko rdeča).

Coral: Gre za lepo poletno koralno barvi, ki ima pod nekatero svetlobo v sebi nekaj pink podtona, ki pa ga nažalost moj fotoaparat ne zaznava. Lak ima krem finish, ki je zadnje čase moj najljubši. Potreboval je dva sloja, za popolno prekrivnost.

Burgundy: ta oddtenek je sicer bolj primeren za hladnejše dni, ampak jaz sem nasplošno vanpy fan tako da bo prišel na vrsto tudi v tem času Gre za temno rdeč lak z ogromno finega vijoličnega shimmra kar mu da bolj vijoličen ton. Je zelo dobro pigmentiran, tako da bi bil primeren tudi za Konad, ampak vseeno potrebuje dva sloja za lepo končni videz.

Nasplošno mi je mazljivost lakov zelo všeč. Oba se super nanašata. Krivino ob kožici sem naredila brez problemov, saj se čopič zelo lepo prilagaja. Cena je prav nizka za takšno kvaliteto: 4.45€. Zagotovo si še kakšnega nabavim.

For my international readers: this post is in Slovene, because Barry M polishes were sent to me by Maja from a new Slovenian online store Licila.si. I got Coral and Burgundy shades.
I love both shades and they apply perfectly. They are both opaque in two coats. If you haven’t tried this brand yet, you really should! I’m impressed.

Ciate: Main Stage + Konad

Hi!

I will show you the manicure that I wore today. The berry base is polish called Main Stage from the latest Ciate collection. I stamped all-over pattern from m61 Konad image plate with China Glaze OMG which is silver holo shade. Lately I love to stamp with holo shades.

Some of you asked about my nail care routine and how I painted my nails so that the line looks clean. I will do a post about that, and maybe include a video showing the routine, because I really don’t know how to explain that

CATRICE: The Devil Wears Red and Poison Me, Poison You!

Hello ladies!

Yesterday I have shown you my new Catrice polishes. Most of you want me to make swatches of The Devil Wears Red and Poison Me, Poison You! So I did them both.

THE DEVIL WEARS RED is really dark vine red shade. In the first coat you can see the red color, but it’s so streaky that the second coat is absolutely necessary. When you put on another layer of the polish, the color becomes more brown than red. The redness comes out under really strong light. I had no problems with application. There are two coats on the pictures.

POISON ME, POISON YOU! is gorgeous eggplant purple with blue and scarlet shimmer. The formula of this one is a little thick, but I managed somehow. This nail polish also needs two coats for full coverage.

I have to say that I’m impressed with these polishes. They are great for such a low price. I also love the brush, it’s not too thin and it’s not too wide. It’s just the right size for perfect application. I also like that they have so many different shades to choose from. Everyone can find something for their taste.

Essence Fashionista Trend Edition

When I first saw this collection, my first tought was: “Finaly a collection I don’t have to buy because I don’t really like it that much!”

A few days ago I was in the drugstore and I saw the entire collection on the shelve and.. I changed my mind. I bought all the polishes

So here are the bottles of Fashionista Trend Edition:

The bottles don’t look all that special, but the colors look promissing to me.

So Glamorous: is medium cool cherry red. It’s just so beautiful! Another red
polish that goes great with my skin tone. It look even better than Divalicious Red.

VIP Appeal: pink color, deffinitley on the warm side. There is a little bit of coral inside.
It’s creamy and glossy.

Sundancer: Verry bright warm yellow. This one screams for Konad

Break Trough: cream magneta purple color. It reminds me of another Essence polish ‘Dress to Party’,
except this one doesn’t have shimmer in it.

I’m glad that I bought that collection, beacuse the colors are nice and the application was flawless.

Essence (SYF): Divalicious Red

I shortened my nails. I don’t know why, normally I like them long
So I decided to paint them with some red polish. I chose Essence Divalicious Red
from Show Your Feet collection.

And OMG! This red polish goes perfect with my skin tone!
I love it!

It’s cream medium blue based red color that has no yellow/orange tone in it.
The coverage is very good, and it aplies like butter.

Look at this beauty!

And my favourite spring flower. It’s not actualy a flower is more bush like,
but I really like it when it blooms This is Forsythia. In Slovenia we call it
‘forzicija’. I don’t know why this yellow thing is so special to me

Look how beautifull it looks with the blue sky in the background and just one little cloud

Essie-Red Nouveau + Konad

Today my post will be short, beacuse I’m verry tired and I can’t wait to go to bed and
read a book. But before that I must check a lot of e-mails wich you have sent to me for the giveaway
I really didn’t expected so many applications And I can’t wait to anounce the winner.

So yesterday I upgraded Essie-Red Nouveau with Konad pattern from image plate m65.
I didn’t want the pattern to stick out too much, so I used the dark berry red polish from
Catrice-Vibrant violet. I really like the result:

Zoya-Adina and Essie-Red Nouveau

I was right about previous manicure. It didn’t last even 24hours
I already changed it yesterday.

The replacment was made with gorgeous polish Zoya-Adina from Spring 2010 Reverie Collection.

Adina is medium lilac purple base with a lot of light green shimmer, wich make the
duochrome effect. Depending on the angle, colors change from purple to silver to green.
It’s awsome! I will definitley be wearing it a lot.

Zoya-Adina:

The formula of this polish is verry good. It’s not too thick, not thin. Just perfect.
I didn’t have any truble aplying it.
Adina needs two coats for full coverage.

This is the second Zoya polish in my collection and absolutley not the last

And now is time for todays manicure

I wanted something classy, so I picked up the red polish
from Essie Spring 2010 Collection Red Nouveau.

I just love this one!!
Classy red, wich I think should be a part of every girl’s collection.

The formula is like a poem! Is really pigmented so the one coat
is almost enough. After the first coat is just a bit transculent bright red
without any strikes.

Essie-Red Nouveau:

I will not add any Konad, beaucse I like it as it is now.
Maybe tomorow i will spice it a little bit

Ta lak spada v China Glaze kolekcijo Loves You Snow Much Holiday 2009.
Iz te kolekcije imam še dva laka, Tinsel in Emerald Sparkle.

Ruby Pumps je hladen rdečko z rdečimi in zlatimi bleščicami.
Rdeča osnova deluje kot žele v katerega je potopljen glitter.
Res prelep oddtenek, ki je must-have v vsaki zbirki

Nanaša se brez problemov, na slikah pa sta 2 sloja.
Izredno težko ga je poslikat, ampak mislim da mi ga je uspelo
dobro ujet.
