OMG! OMG! I got the whole new Essence Trend Edition – Eclipse. It is inspired by the latest movie of Twilight Saga Eclipse. I was so excited when I heard that essence came out with an entire collection about it. And of course like a true Twilight fan I had to have it. I have to warn you, that this post is pic heavy.

Eclipse Trend Edition:

*****

POLISHES: there are five shades in this collection.

Undead?: is jelly black base with purple glitter mixed in it. I was a little afraid that the glitter won’t be seen on the nails, but it’s not like that. I can’t tell you how much I love this shade. It needs two coats for full coverage.

Thrsty?: is a really dark jelly red shade. It’s like blood. I love it! There are also two coats.

Don’t Bite Me – Kiss Me: is medium berry shade with purple shimmer in it. It’s opaque in two coats.

Hide Bella Hide: is frosty metallic silver shade. I was expecting trouble with application, but it was easy. It needs also two coats.

Ready To be Bitten?: hell yes I’m ready! ;) I’m joking a little bit. This shade is also nice. It’s sheer nude shade with rose undertone, but it is shimmer that is special. It looks like it has melted glass in it. Lovely color. This one needs three coats for full coverage.

*****

LIP-GLOSSES: There are four lip-glosses in this collection. I just swatched three of them on my lips, the black one however doesn’t look interesting on the lips.

Don’t Bite Me – Kiss Me lip-gloss: is nice light purple shade with pink, blue and silver slitter mixed in it. Glitter is not too big, so you can’t feel it on the lips.

Ready To Be Bitten lip-gloss: this one is really nice. Clear base with loads of silver, blue and pink glitter in it. It makes your lips sparkle.

Lunch At Cullen’s: oh I love the name! And the gloss it’s also beautiful. It’s like China Glaze Ruby Pumps on the lips. Red jelly base with a lot of red glitter mixed in it. My lips are not made for red color, I should use a lip-liner.

*****

DUO EYESHADOWS: there are three duo eye-shadows in this collection. I didn’t swatch them, I just took a close up picture of them. The colors look nice, but I hear that they are hard. So the base or the wet application is necessary. I also love the naming of them :)

DIAMOND POWDER: it’s called Too Beautiful To Be True. It’s most silver, but you can also find some gold shimmer in it. This one is perfect if you want your skin to look like Edward on sunlight. You can use it on body or face. This one is also recommended to apply wet. I will save this one for New Year’s Eve.

So, this is it. What do you think about this collection?
Have a nice Twilight day! Lyra* :)

Hi!

I turned 20 a few days ago. I can’t believe, that I’m that old so soon. I know that is not “old”, but anyway I feel like the number 30 is not so far anymore.

Leaving my age aside let’s move to the manicure that I wore that day. I didn’t have any inspiration so I browsed around some other nail blogs. I saw this gorgeous manicure from Deniz on Emerald Sparkled and I know, that this is perfect mani for my ˝big day˝, because it has glitter and it’s also holo.

I used Ciate 3am Girl, which is very dark blue – almost black. And then I layered one coat of China Glaze Atlantis and one coat Wet’n’wild Kaledioscope which gave my nails a more holo effect.

The only problem with this mani was, that the sun let me down and it wasn’t sparkly at all :( These are the pictures taken a day later on the sun:

As you can see I shortened my nails the next day. Do you want to know why? :D I told everyone around me that this year I don’t want any presents, but nobody listened. I got the most beautiful present from my boyfriend. He bought me a piano! A real piano! :D I can’t wait to start learning to play. So you can expect now that from now on my nails will be shorter than usual ;)

Have a nice day!! Lyra :*

OMG! Why didn’t I try this polish before? I got it a long time ago from my dear friend Gani, but I just put it in the drawer and never tried it, until yesterday.

I fell in love with it! Meteor Shower is gorgeous deep blue polish with a lot of gold, bronze, orange, green and blue glitter mixed in it. The shape of glitter is round and there are also little squares in it. All these colorful glitter doesn’t stand out much, because the blue base is like jelly and the glitter looks like it’s sunk in into the polish. The effect reminds me of deep sea.

The finish is pretty much chunky, but it doesn’t bother me. Two coats of top-coat fixes everything ;)

China Glaze Meteor Shower:

My birthday is coming soon and I’m already wondering which polish to wear? Any suggestions?

Have a nice day!!

Hi!

Today I will show you the two new S-he polishes which I got last week.

S-he 470 is verry light blue, I get that cold feeling just by looking at it :P
It has pearly blue shimmer in it. This was after two coats and the white tips are still visible. For me that’s ok though because I was planing to do the french manicure anyway;)

S-he 470:

I polished the tips with S-he 471, wich is nice silver-shimmery-blue with the foil finish. Under the tips I made a silver line with Essence silver tip painter. I also added some purple rhinestones and around them I put some tear-shaped glitter and made flowers out of them :)

Do you like it? I do :)

Bonus photo:
The trees have started to blossom. I can’t wait for them to grow some fruit. Cherries and apricotes are my favourite. This is the photo of apricot blossom:

Wich is your faworite fruit?
Have a nice day!

Hi everyone!

So today is the time to show you the last twin-set from Essence wich is currently available in drugstores:)
Their name is Mr.Big and Carrie :) How cute is that?

I noticed that I already have some similar polishes as Mr.Big. So I made a comparison.
All the polishes are nice pinkish berry color.

Very Berry is from Jelly Baby Collection and in comparison with Mr. big it is lighter and has jelly-like look, while Mr.Big is creamy.
Very Berry from Show Your Feet Colection is almost exactly the same. It’s also creamy but just a little bit lighter tham Mr.Big – really a little.
The main difference between them is that is Mr.Big is way more pigmented than the rest. Mr.Big is opaque in one coat, but the other two need two coats for full coverage.

Here I put Mr.Big on all my nails and added a layer of Carrie :)
Carrie is light pink and has fuchsia square glitter mixed in clear base. There is also tiny berry glitter in it.
Here is the finish look.

Essence – Mr.Big and Carrie:

So what do you think?

Hi!

Yesterday I promissed, that I will swatch Bonnie & Clyde from Essence :)
So here they are! :D

Bonnie is creme teal polish. Is more teal green than blue. I think this is the
first teal polish in my collection :D First impression: I like it ;)
Is really well pigmented so it’s opaque with one coat.

Essence Bonnie:

Where is Bonnie, there is also Clyde :)
Clyde is turqoise glitter and holo squares mixed in clear base.

Essence Bonnie & Clyde:

I have great news for you :D My friend Gani found Mr. Big and Carrie for me!! She is so nice :)
I will get them tomorrow.
Until then, have a great time! =)

In the previous post Elizabeth asked me:

So I did it :) I put Victory over Thelma.
The result was so beautifull… take a look yourself ;)

Thelma and Victory:

Here is the picture of Victory in the bottle:

****

Yaaay! Today I got another polish twin-set :) Bonnie & Clyde, but I will swatch them tomorrow.

I really like the idea on how the Essence named these polishes – after famous pairs
Another twin-set is named Mr. Big & Carrie. I also got Carrie today but I droped it by mistake and the bottle broke :(
The polish was everywhere! Even on the walls :S
But I’m still optimistic that I will get Carrie again and find Mr. Big somewhere ;)

Nail polishes from Essence Be A Nail Artist collection are really great. There are three pairs
of twins – each pair has a base and a transparent glitter topper which goes well with the base. Two of the bases are creamy and the third is
shimmer that has just a little bit of frost finish.
The formula is awsome! They are well pigmented, and the application is verry smooth.
I liked all the base colors, but when I added glitter toppers I was blown away!
Yes, I like glitter :)

****

Thelma & Louise: this pair I like the most. The finish result is just stunning.

Thelma is really, really dark eggplant creme purple shade. It’s opaque in two coats.

Louise is clear base with little light pink glitter and there are also bigger light pink and
pink squares mixed in it.

****

Romeo & Juliet: oh I’m in love with this book and the twin-set polises are also nice. But I think there is
no polish that can match the love of Romeo and Juliet :)

Romeo is dark grey color with tiny silver shimmer. I like darker shades of grey so this is perfect.
It’s a little bit frosty, but really just a little. It’s opaque in one coat!

Juliet is clear base with little holo glitter and bigger square holo glitter.

****

Joe & Victory: a gorgeous base color and the glitter topper is also nice. The ending
result is verry pretty.

Joe is beautifull red based purple shade on the warm side. Here are two coats.

Victory is clear base with lavender holo glitter and squares mixed in it.

Wich twin set is your favourite? Mine is definitley Thelma & Luise :)
Have a nice time! Thank you for reading :)

Hi ladies!

I’m so happy! I got the stuff from new Essence Trend Edition Collection!
The collection is called “Be A Nail Artist“.

There’s tons of stuff for nail art. I will show you everything I got :)

****

So I will start wit a nail art glitter mix wheels :)
There are three of them. In every wheel there are different shapes of glitter: flowers, dots, tears,
hearts, stars…

- Glam It Up! has blue, green and turqoise glitter
- Style It Up! has white glitter with rainbow reflection. One of the stars in this wheel are silver/holo.
- Check It Out! has red, orange, yellow and lavender glitter.

****

In this collection there are even more glitter shapes and colors! These are in individual jars.

-Glitter Star! are the silver/holo stars, the same are in one of the mix glitter wheel.
-Glitter It! are the light pink hexagon glitter, with rainbow reflection.
-Have Fun! are the duochrome green/purple glitter in the circle shape with a hole in the middle.
-Style It Up! are the heart shaped violet glitter with some holo effect.

****

There is another thing in the jar :) I like this the most.
Cutie Fruity jar has fruit shaped designs made from fimo polymer clay. I can’t wait
to see them on my nails :D

****

I was playing with glitter and I noticed that I need longer nails for this kind of
stuff ;) I wouldn’t wear them like that, I just wanted to show you what the glitter looks like :D

So here is the picture of my “Nail Art”:

****

Another great stuff in this collection are the Nail Art Pens. They are just like
real pens, but they leave the polish behind instead of ink ;)
I have them in three colors: silver white, black and jucy orange

Here is another useful thing for nail art – freestyle & tip painters. These are the polishes
with very thin and long brush so you can draw anything on your nails. They comes in three shades:
-Silver Surfer
-Pink!
-Purple Magic

Picture of the brush:

Here is my attempt of the nail art :P I’m not proud of it, but this was my first time
that I tried to draw something on my nails ;)

****

In this collection I was the most excided about the nail polish twins!
I have three of twin-sets, but there are more which I dont have (yet) ;)
I will swatch them in my next post ;)

See you soon! :)

Hey everyone!

How are you? Yesterday I finaly got my own bottle China Glaze-For Audrey :D

Until now I was just reading how great and beautifull is it.
Am I crazy if I’m saying that I’m not blown away? :S

It’s a nice polish, but I am not as crazy about it as most girls.
Maybe Is not the right time for me to wear this one. I will
try it again in the summer, when the bright colors are more popular ;)

For Audrey is bright light blue creme color with hint of green. Depending on the light it
looks even more green than blue. The best word for this color is
turqoise :)

China Glaze For Audrey:

I upgraded For Audrey with some Konad and nail art ;)
The Konad I used is on image plate m64, but I only stamped half of the nail, the other half
I polished with China Glaze-Atlantis.
Atlantis is jelly green/blue polish with silver and holo glitter mixed in it.
The silver line is made with NYX Ink Nail Art-Silver Glitter polish.

I don’t really like the final look, I think this is too much of everything. My nails
can’t handle all of this nail art :P
So I don’t belive this mani will last long ;)
What do you think? Is it too much?

The China Glaze Atlantis polish is also a part of my giveaway :)

Have a nice day!
