Hello everybody!
Today I will show you a manicure that came out really good. For the base I used Color Club Where’s The Soiree? and then I did some layering with Milani Whimsical. Whimsical is a black base with a lot of purple glitter.
Then I covered it with matte top coat Essie Matte About you.
And for the end I put on some Konad with image plate m69. I used Essie Good To Go! for stamping.
Have a nice time! Lyra*
I really must stop wearing dark polishes
But I can’t get out of my skin.
So here is Essie Midnight Cami. I spiced it a little bit with adding Sinful colors Starlight
on the ring finger.
Starlight are the holo stripes glitter in clear base. It looks great on dark base ![]()
This mani is more appropriate for New Year’s eve
And here is another common spring flower. Purple Violet is in my language ‘vijolica‘ ![]()
As a little girl I used to pick them for my mother.
Which is you favourite spring flower?
*Kisses – Lyra*
Today I’m wearing Ciate Refresher, wich is creme light blue color. The application
was a bit tricky. The first layer was not the problem, but I had truble with the second one.
The brush kept sticking on the second coat application.
Ciate Refresher:
Today I fell more creative, so I did some Konad ![]()
I didn’t know wich pattern I shoul use, so I went trough all my image plates.
I saw this patern on m69 and I realized, thad I have never used it before. So I gave it a chance ![]()
I chose the white color for stamping, but it looked so empty, so I stamped over again with dark blue color.
The polishes I used for stamping: Konad special Polish-White and Essie-Midnight Cami.

Today my post will be short, beacuse I’m verry tired and I can’t wait to go to bed and
read a book. But before that I must check a lot of e-mails wich you have sent to me for the giveaway ![]()
I really didn’t expected so many applications
And I can’t wait to anounce the winner.
So yesterday I upgraded Essie-Red Nouveau with Konad pattern from image plate m65.
I didn’t want the pattern to stick out too much, so I used the dark berry red polish from
Catrice-Vibrant violet. I really like the result:
Thank you for reading and have a nice day!
I was right about previous manicure. It didn’t last even 24hours ![]()
I already changed it yesterday.
The replacment was made with gorgeous polish Zoya-Adina from Spring 2010 Reverie Collection.
Adina is medium lilac purple base with a lot of light green shimmer, wich make the
duochrome effect. Depending on the angle, colors change from purple to silver to green.
It’s awsome! I will definitley be wearing it a lot.
Zoya-Adina:
The formula of this polish is verry good. It’s not too thick, not thin. Just perfect.
I didn’t have any truble aplying it.
Adina needs two coats for full coverage.
This is the second Zoya polish in my collection and absolutley not the last
*****
And now is time for todays manicure
I wanted something classy, so I picked up the red polish
from Essie Spring 2010 Collection Red Nouveau.
I just love this one!!
Classy red, wich I think should be a part of every girl’s collection.
The formula is like a poem! Is really pigmented so the one coat
is almost enough. After the first coat is just a bit transculent bright red
without any strikes.
Essie-Red Nouveau:
I will not add any Konad, beaucse I like it as it is now.
Maybe tomorow i will spice it a little bit
Today I was watching TV and my baby doughter(9 months) was sleeping next to me.
I was looking at her and thinking how cute she is <3
Then I looked at her little fingers and her tiny nails …
Wouldn’t it be funny if I painted them with some nice polish?
Look at them? Aren’t they cute?
Ofcourse she is too young to have her nails done, but some day, I’m sure she’ll be walking around with very pretty manicure like her mommy
She gives me inspiration for todays mani. I was thinking colorful, sweet and happy ![]()
So I painted each nail in a diferent color.
The China Glaze Up&Away colection is just perfect for this. There are lots of diferent pastel colors. So I use four polishes from that collection:
Re-Fresh Mint: is the pastel minty color, more green than blue
Lemon Fizz: pastel bright yellow
Something Sweet: pastel light pink, verry girly
Light As Air: pastel light violet, with a hint of grey
The polish on the thumb is Essie-Van D’Go, my favourite from spring 2010
One of you will get three of these polishes in my Giveaway so check it out! ![]()
There are also verry similar pink and violet polishes in the Giveaway
Hotela sem narediti primerjavo med Essie-Lilacism in China Glaze-Light As Air,
ampak sem dodala še Essence-Date Me! in OPI-Parlez Vous Opi?
I wanted to compare Essie-Lilacism and China Glaze-Light As Air, but i added
also Essence-Date Me! and Parlez Vous Opi?
Za na konec sem čez vse nanesla eno plast Nfu-Oh-50.
At the end i added one layer of Nfu-Oh-50.
Iz Essie spomladanske kolekcije Art Of Spring 2010 mi je najbolj
všeč odtenek Van D’Go
Če njega sem oddtisnila Konad vzorček iz plate m65. Spomnim se, ko sem
bila v Konadiranju še novinka in sem hotela imet ta vzorček, vendar mi
ni najboljše uspelo, saj je bilo vse zapacano in črte so bile krive
Tokrat mi je super uspelo
Za Konad sem uporabila lak znamke e.l.f.
oddtenek ki je super za Konadiranje.
